Sammusic Productions was founded by Sam Umar, a self-taught musician who writes and produces music for multimedia platforms. Composing since 2002, he mostly writes orchestral-sound type of music with distinctive melodies and well-crafted harmonies.

His influences come from various composers and mucisians, including Beethoven, Chopin, Schubert, Bob James, Earl Klugh, Paul McCartney, Paul Mauriat, to whom he listened to during his childhood from his dad's vinyl and CD records collection, as well as the most recent Hans Zimmer, Brian Tyler, John Williams, Philip Glass, among others.

Sam Umar also writes a few novels, and one of them (titled: Prelude) has been released by a local book publisher, to which he composed a soundtrack album (available for free download in the music list).
